What is the NTHS? |
The National Technical Honor Society currently serves approximately 80,000 active members in 2015 and nearly three quarters of a million since its inception in 1984. Over $225,000 in scholarships is awarded annually to its members. NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive, skilled workforce. For over 30 years, NTHS has been the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education.

How do I apply? |
How are applicants accepted?Through the double-blind format, the evaluation committee will look at volunteer work, community service experience, work experience, school clubs/organization participation, school sports, and anything else listed on student resumes. The committee will also read each essay and evaluate which students best reflect the attributes of the NTHS.
|
We invite students to complete a full application to the NTHS to be evaluated. We will call the top 15 students in the junior class who do not have a disciplinary record to a meeting to discuss the application process. Each applicant will submit a resume and an essay in a double-blind format, meaning the selection committee does not see student names.
